College area links
The University of Cambridge Area Links Scheme was established in 2000 to enable the Cambridge Colleges to build effective, coherent relationships with schools and colleges right across the country. Every area of the UK is now linked with a College.
Select your region on the map below and then the appropriate area to see which Cambridge College you are linked with and how you can get in touch with them.
1. Select your region
2. Select your area
3. Contacts for your area
The Area Links Scheme:
- provides contacts by which you can communicate with us, and we can communicate with you
- enables the Colleges of Cambridge to get to know specific regions better, and gives schools and colleges a more personal and direct way of staying in touch with the University
- involves Colleges engaging in a range of activities and events either based in Cambridge or taking place in your region
There is variation in the year groups the Colleges work with through the Scheme. Local circumstances and needs differ, and a range of approaches have been developed to help teachers and lecturers encourage and support their students within the context of Cambridge application. What all Colleges share is a willingness to provide you and your students with advice and guidance, and to listen to your perspectives on what we can do to help make Cambridge as accessible as possible to all very bright students.
Please note that participation in Area Links Scheme initiatives does not influence whether Colleges invite applicants for interview or offer them places. Please also note that the Area Links Scheme does not preclude you from contacting, or being contacted by, a College other than your Link College.
