Access and Widening Participation

The University of Cambridge and its Colleges are committed to widening participation to the University and to higher education in general. Hundreds of outreach initiatives and events are run each year both in Cambridge and in schools and colleges across the UK.

Care Leavers

We are able to offer a wide range of support and guidance to students who have been in care.

Students at FE colleges

The University of Cambridge is keen to encourage applications from students studying at FE colleges.

BAME students

To encourage applications from black, asian and minority ethnic students.

Mature students

We welcome applications from mature students and are able to offer a range of support and guidance to such students.

Events

The University organises a range events for students and throughout the year.

Schools

We engage with schools and colleges through a range of widening participation activities.
